About this expansion

Oceans: The Deep – Promo Pack 1 is a 2020 expansion for 2–4 players, with a play time of 90 minutes. It adds six new Deep traits to Oceans, offering additional ways to expand the game.

The promo cards are well-balanced, but each is either more aggressive, more chaotic, or more complicated than standard content. The Deep was designed to be infinitely expandable without throwing off the balance of the game, so players can choose which cards to add to their game.

These six traits form Promo Pack 1 for the Oceans: The Deep series. Their distinct names and promo classification make the pack a compact way to introduce more aggressive, chaotic, or complex possibilities while retaining the expandable structure of The Deep.

Oceans: The Deep – Promo Pack 1 was available as an add-on in the Oceans Kickstarter pledge manager and through the Man vs. Meeple Season 3 Promo. It later became available during the Game Boy Geek Season 10 Kickstarter campaign and Tantrum House Season 8.

The cards were not included with any pledge level and were not unlocked with stretch goals. Choose the traits that fit your game and add them to Oceans as desired.
