Odin’s Ravens (Second Edition) is a two-player racing game with approximately 30 minutes of play time, in which rival ravens cross the world to return to Odin first.

Every morning, Odin sends Huginn and Muninn across the entire world to bring back news of life on Earth. After thousands of years, their rivalry has turned the journey into a contest: race through the landscape in opposite directions and be the first raven to make it back.

Speed is important, but it is not the only path to victory. You can focus on moving quickly, or call on Loki, the trickster god, to create shortcuts and interfere with your opponent’s route. Yet Loki’s changes can be unpredictable. A twist intended to slow your rival may instead give them the advantage, making every decision a calculated risk.

The revised second edition of Thorsten Gimmler’s award-winning game has been completely redesigned, combining new rules with a beautiful art style inspired by Norse mythology. Its focused two-player format sets up a direct contest between the ravens, with each player balancing progress against the danger of helping the other side.

Cards shape the changing journey and support Loki’s disruptive influence. The rules also include a specific interaction for unusual path layouts: only the rotate action on Loki cards may be used on a loop card or on a card slid partially out of the path.

With its compact play time, mythological setting, and tense race, Odin’s Ravens offers a contest where every shortcut and obstruction can change who reaches Odin first.
