Old School Tactical: Volume 3 – Pacific 1942/45 is a two-player World War II tactical game with approximately 60-minute play time, released in 2020. It brings the quick-playing Old School Tactical system to the Pacific Theater, where Japanese and American units fight across jungles and beaches.

The Imperial Japanese Army and Naval (Marine) units introduce a distinctive approach to battle. Fanatical Japanese troops have no Gut Check number, preferring death to dishonor, while new tank-killer units and the famous Banzai attack add further character to their forces.

American forces answer with their own specialized capabilities, including canister rounds for the Stuart tank, famed Marine firepower and discipline, and substantial armor and artillery support. The American roster includes both Marine and Army rifle units, LVTs, flamethrower tanks, and 37mm antitank guns.

Sixteen scenarios cover notable Pacific engagements and locations, including Guadalcanal, Bougainville, and Henderson Field. Scenarios include Alligator Creek, Edson’s Ridge, In the Coconut Grove, and First Clash.
