About this board game

Old Town Road is a solo in-hand card game for one player, with a play time of 20 minutes. Follow the infamous road to Old Town and face a series of encounters with outlaws as you work to build the highest possible score.

On each turn, use an action on one of your six face-up cards. You may shoot targets or rob banks, then flip cards to increase your victory points. Alternatively, put cards at the back of your deck to create sequences of three-card poker hands.

These poker sequences provide points at the end of the game, giving your card placement decisions a lasting impact. Your final score combines the points from each completed poker sequence with victory points earned from wanted posters and bank robberies.

Old Town Road keeps its entire challenge in a compact card format. The game’s components include:

• 1 Old Town reference card

As you move through the road’s encounters, decide how to use the cards in front of you and when to send them to the back of the deck. Shooting targets and robbing banks can provide immediate scoring opportunities, while arranging cards into poker sequences supports your end-game total.
