About this board game
Onirim is a solo or cooperative card game for 1–2 players, playable in about 15 minutes. You are a Dreamwalker trapped in a mysterious labyrinth, searching for eight oneiric Doors before the deck runs out.
Explore the chambers of dreams and carefully manage the cards in your hand. You can seek Doors by playing cards of the same color for three turns in a row, or discard one of your powerful Key cards under the right circumstances. Every decision matters as you balance immediate progress against the cards you may need later.
Nightmare cards are hidden in the deck and create difficult dilemmas when drawn. Their presence makes each turn uncertain, forcing you to consider how best to protect your progress while continuing your search. The game supports both solo play and teamwork, with partners working together against the game.
- Eight Doors: Two each in red, blue, green, and brown.
- Labyrinth cards: Chambers featuring keys, moons, and suns across four colors.
- Nightmares: Hidden threats that bring painful choices when revealed.
The basic deck is joined by three standalone mini-expansions that can also be combined. The Towers adds deck searching and manipulation, along with another victory condition. Happy Dreams and Dark Premonitions introduces predictable time bombs and helpful but unreliable allies.
The Book of Steps Lost and Found gives the Doors a randomly determined order and lets you remove discarded cards from the game to cast powerful spells. With its compact play time and layered card decisions, Onirim offers a focused dream-labyrinth challenge for one player or a pair.
