About this board game
Only One Collection is a card-collecting game for 2–4 players that takes about 60 minutes to play. Players gather cards and compete to have the most of each number, while also benefiting from cards held by the player on their right.
On each turn, choose between two important actions: add a card from the deck to a set on the table, or take a set. Sets cannot contain a duplicate number, so every addition must fit the collection already being built.
- Add a card from the deck to a set on the table.
- Take a set from the table.
- Respect the rule that a set cannot contain duplicate numbers.
The game continues until a certain card is revealed in the deck. At that point, scoring begins across the different numbers in the game.
For each number, the player who holds the most cards of that number earns 1 point. That player then earns 1 additional point for every card of those numbers held by the player on their right, making the position of each player at the table part of the scoring equation.
In Only One Collection, collecting the largest share of a number is only part of the challenge. The cards held by your right-hand neighbor can increase your score, so every set taken and every card added contributes to the final result. When scoring is complete, the player with the most points wins.
