Origami: Legends

About this board game

Origami: Legends is a fast, fun card game for 2–4 players that plays in about 30 minutes. Players compete as origami masters, using their knowledge of folding paper and a touch of magic to bring paper creations to life.

During the game, you collect folds and use them to play origami cards. These cards can score additional points when you make use of their special abilities, creating opportunities to turn your paper creations into a stronger overall performance.

The game features four animal card families, offering a range of themes to bring into play:

• Polar animals
• Exotic animals
• Dinosaurs
• Legendary creatures

Origami: Legends also includes twenty new character cards. When you put a character into play, you may choose one origami from the draw line and play it without paying its cost with folds as a bonus action. However, that character remains influential: while it is in play, it modifies the rules of the game for every player.

This shared rule-changing effect gives the character cards a distinctive role in the contest. Players must account not only for their own origami and scoring opportunities, but also for the character currently shaping the game for everyone.

Play Origami: Legends as a standalone card game, or mix and match its card families with those from the original Origami card game. Released in 2019, it offers a compact competition for players seeking clever card play, special abilities, and a lively origami theme.
