About this board game

Pacific Fleet is a two-player strategic-level wargame covering all of World War II in the Pacific Theater, with an approximate playing time of 360 minutes. The Basic Game includes the campaigns in the Pacific, while the Expanded Game extends the conflict to mainland China and Russia.

The game presents the war across five scenarios, using a scale in which each turn represents three months and each hex represents 250 miles. Each turn is divided into seven phases: one phase represents a week for air-naval units, while the remaining six weeks are omitted as a preparation term.

Naval forces are represented at different levels of detail. Carriers appear individually, while other counters represent groups of two to ten vessels. This structure supports a broad strategic view while preserving a specific representation for one of the Pacific War’s most important types of warship.
