About this board game

Palm Island is a portable strategy game for 1–2 players that plays in about 15 minutes, with no table required. Using just 17 cards over 8 rounds, you shape your island while responding to its unique challenges.

Palm Island uses a deck transforming mechanic in which every decision can change your village from round to round. Store resources to pay for upgrades, then improve buildings to access new abilities. At the end of the eighth round, calculate your victory points.

Choose the mode that suits your game. Play solo while working toward achievements and unlocking new abilities that can help your village reach greater heights. In cooperative play, work together to prepare your village before natural disasters strike. Competitive play lets you race to purchase bonuses, while casual mode challenges you to meet specific criteria before your opponent.

Villagers can be added to any game mode. Recruit them to your village and use their abilities to score more points than your opponent. With 2 player decks, competitive cards, cooperative cards, and solo feat cards included, Palm Island supports a variety of ways to play.

Because the game is designed to be played anywhere—sitting, standing, waiting, riding, flying, or relaxing—it offers a compact island-building experience for solo sessions or games together. Multiple games can also be combined to add even more players.
