About this board game

Panthalos is a game for 2–5 players that takes about 90 minutes, combining goods management, refinement, deliveries, Titan development, and troop deployment against a spreading underworld threat.

Titans, the demi-gods of the underworld, are causing mischief and chaos throughout the world. Humanity is prepared to resist by creating its own Titans, while players work to maintain ordinary life amid the escalating danger.

Players acquire goods and refine them into better merchandise before delivering those goods to ships and dealers. Alongside this everyday activity, they can strengthen their own Titans and use troops to gain even more power. Success depends on managing these different priorities as the conflict around them grows.

Action discs are an important part of keeping followers active, adding another consideration to each player’s plans. Every decision takes place under pressure from the underworld, whose powers can continue to grow throughout the game.

Panthalos lasts for at most eight rounds, but the game may end sooner if the powers of the underworld become too large. Players must therefore balance development, deliveries, and military strength while preparing for a possible early conclusion.
