Pátzcuaro is a card-based game for 2–4 players about building an altar in Mexico, with a listed play time of 45 minutes. The designer’s description gives a duration of 20 minutes, and the game is recommended for ages 10 and over.

Every November 2nd, families in a magical land called Mexico create wonderful monoliths decorated with stories and tradition. These altars honor loved ones who rest in peace, surrounding their memories with meals, favorite objects, and meaningful decorations.

In Pátzcuaro, each player visits a cultural market to obtain the letters representing objects that make up an altar. Players then use those letters to construct their altar, bringing together elements connected to memory, family, and tradition.
