Peak Oil: Profiteer is a card-driven tactical board game for 1–5 players that plays in about 60 minutes. Set in the Peak Oil universe, it casts each player as the top executive of an oil corporation operating in a war-torn nation rich in oil but lacking anyone able to sell it.

Your objective is direct: make the most cash before corruption ruins the land. Across a series of rounds, you improve your workforce by investing in powerful consultants while competing for influence over three warring factions: the so-called government, the National Liberation Front, and the Guerilla Militia.

Control of the oil fields shifts between these factions, so timing and positioning matter. You must be in the right place at the right time, with the right faction leader in your pocket, as you work to keep oil—and money—flowing in your direction.

• Area control: Vie for influence as oil-field control changes hands.
• Simultaneous action selection: Anticipate opponents while committing to your own plans.
• Player interaction: Blackmail politicians, sell weapons to those who need them, and use consultants to strengthen your workforce.

Every decision contributes to the struggle for profit in a region shaped by competing factions and spreading corruption. Read your competitors, manage your influence, and exploit opportunities before the environment collapses around you.
