About this expansion

Peloponnes: Heroes and Colonies is an expansion for Peloponnes for 2–8 players, with a playing time of about 60 minutes. Released in 2017, it adds powerful new ways to develop and distinguish each civilisation.

The expansion introduces Heroes, each with an individual power that can affect a player’s civilisation. It also adds Colonies, which replace the player boards from the original game. Every Colony has its own advantages and disadvantages, giving players a different foundation for their civilisation.

Development remains closely tied to building up your civilisation. As players add buildings and land, they gain strength, helping them defend against both the Persians and the other players. This creates a clear link between expansion and survival as the game progresses.

A new disaster connected with the Persians is also included. Unlike a single event, this threat strikes twice during the game, adding another challenge for civilisations that must prepare and grow stronger.
