Perdition’s Mouth: Abyssal Rift – The Hideout is a 2018 board game for 1–6 players with an approximately 189-minute play time, featuring five scenarios set apart from the main Abyssal Rift campaign.

In the vast Northern Vidal-Sis marshlands, Neshilim has finally tracked the cult responsible for his downfall to an obscure hideout. Surrounded by bandits, vagabonds, dissidents, and other fugitives, the swamp is a dangerous place where even pursuing armies have been defeated by the bog itself.

The Hideout presents a focused series of scenarios with a different character from the Abyssal Rift main campaign. Your objective is to uncover the cult’s refuge and make it pay for the upheaval that helped bring Neshilim’s former order down.

• Five scenarios that differ from the main campaign
• A hostile marshland setting filled with fugitives and hidden dangers
• The possibility of securing a safe haven for recovery and restocking
• A persistent threat that can eventually overrun your refuge

Success carries an important reward: defeating the cult can secure a safe haven, at least temporarily. This refuge offers an opportunity to recover and restock before the danger rises again.

Yet safety is never guaranteed. The cult is relentless, and the hideout may one day come under attack, making vigilance essential even after victory. First appearing in the Gamer’s Bundle in 2016, The Hideout was released as a separate boxed edition in 2018.
