Perseverance: Castaway Chronicles – Episodes 1 & 2 is a 1–4 player euro-style dice-drafting and dice-placement strategy game with an approximately 180-minute play time.

A modern luxury ocean liner has crashed on an otherworldly island after an enigmatic storm. The survivors must establish a foothold, endure attacks from majestic and fiercely territorial dinosaurs, and begin building the community that may one day uncover the island’s mystery.

This release contains the first two episodes of a planned four-episode saga. Each episode is playable as a standalone medium-to-heavy game, or the two can be connected in a campaign where the outcome of one episode influences the next. The story and mechanisms evolve across the series, while the campaign remains infinitely replayable with no legacy elements or hidden rules.

• Episode 1: Build and protect the town of Perseverance with walls, traps, settlements, and defenses while navigating early political power struggles. Its signature dice-placement and area-majority mechanism appears here, alongside a unique system for defending against waves of attacking dinosaurs.
• Episode 2: Venture beyond the completed city wall to expand the settlement, establish outposts, and chart a path toward a mysterious structure on the horizon. New actions extend the core mechanism, while dozens of unique skills enable deep customization of Leaders and factions.

In the second episode, the earlier defense system develops into hex-based adventuring and expansion. The wilderness offers new opportunities, but the dinosaurs remain a constant danger—and they are not your friends yet.

With its evolving systems, developing story, and blend of area majority, dice placement, defense, and exploration, Perseverance: Castaway Chronicles creates a replayable journey from desperate survivors to the foundations of a tenacious civilization.
