About this board game

Perthro is a fast-paced Norse mythology-inspired dice game for exactly two players, with a playing time of about 10 minutes.

Each player takes all six dice of one color. On your turn, roll your dice and work toward placing all four of your WYRD Runes on your side of the game mat. The first player to complete this goal wins.

After rolling, check your dice for special symbols, pairs, and triples. These results shape how you use your dice during the turn, creating a compact race in which each roll can help you progress toward your runes.

• Two-player gameplay with a very small footprint

Multiples cannot be split: a triple cannot become a single and a double, and a double cannot become two singles. Dice used as part of an effect or a pair or triple must be set aside for the rest of the current turn.

As soon as a player has no more dice to use, the turn passes to the opponent. Released in 2021, Perthro combines simple turn-taking with focused dice decisions, making it a concise contest for two players seeking a quick Norse-themed game.
