About this board game

Photo Party is a 2010 party game for 6–15 players that takes about 20 minutes to play. Using 12 cards and a camera with a timer, players follow photographic challenges and compete for points in the resulting pictures.

To begin, take a card and read the instruction describing what players must do in front of the lens. Set the camera timer, press the button, and get into position before the photo is taken. A tripod can also be useful for setting up the shot.

The challenges can call for visual poses and arrangements, such as being in the air, holding hands, or appearing to be cut by the borders of the photograph. Each card turns the camera into part of the game, creating a quick group activity centered on timing and positioning.
