About this board game

Pick Picknic is a family game for 2–6 players that takes about 20 minutes to play. In this lively poultry-themed contest, chickens, geese, ducks, game hens, pheasants, and turkeys all hope to enjoy a plentiful feast of corn.

The fowl are not the only hungry creatures in the yard. A clever fox is also searching for a meal, although its menu is rather different: incautious poultry. Players must keep the appetites of the birds in mind while watching out for the foxes waiting to take advantage.

At the end of Pick Picknic, the winner is the player with the plumpest poultry and the most nutritious corn. The result is a playful struggle between feeding the birds well and dealing with the ever-present threat of hungry predators.

Designed by Stefan Dorra, Pick Picknic is a remake of Razzia with its setting transformed into a comic poultry yard. The game features artwork by Doris Matthäus and is part of Zoch’s Chicken Family series. The Dutch edition belongs to the Jakkie & Bak Collection.
