About this board game
Pictionary: 15th Anniversary is a drawing game for 3-16 players with a playing time of about 90 minutes. Released in 2000, this edition adds a Challenge Die to the regular Pictionary experience.
At the start of your turn, you may use the Challenge Die to change the way you must draw. Its special results introduce unusual restrictions and quick creative challenges, offering a different pace from turn to turn.
- Draw two pictures in less than one minute.
- Draw with your eyes closed.
- Draw a picture using only one line without lifting your pencil.
- Draw with your off hand: right-handed players use their left hand, and left-handed players use their right hand.
- Play with the regular rules.
The Challenge Die makes each turn potentially different while keeping the familiar foundation of the classic drawing game. Some results test speed, while others change the physical way a picture must be created.
Because the die can also produce the regular rules, players can use it for occasional surprises rather than applying a challenge on every turn. This makes Pictionary: 15th Anniversary a notable variation for players who enjoy the classic game and want an added change of pace.
