Poker Peril

About this board game

Poker Peril is a 2–4 player card game that combines poker hands with tactical grid-building in approximately 45 minutes.

Each player begins with five cards, then takes turns drawing one card and playing one card to gradually build poker hands across their own felt. Every decision shapes your developing sections while giving you a reason to watch what everyone else is creating.

As the deck runs out, the tension rises. Once all sections are filled, it is time for the showdown: the strongest hand in each section wins gold coins, bringing its player one step closer to victory. Peril Cards add another way to enhance the gameplay as the hands take shape.

Individual hands take around 6–7 minutes to play, while a complete game generally takes 30–35 minutes. The published play time is 45 minutes, particularly if your table includes Captain Wadoobie.
