Potion Explosion: Franklin Stickler

About this expansion

Potion Explosion: Franklin Stickler is a 2019 game for 2–4 players with an approximate play time of 45 minutes. It introduces a specific change to the regular pick performed during a turn.

With Franklin Stickler, the regular pick requires you to select two adjacent marbles from the same slide track of the Dispenser. This replaces the usual action of picking just one marble, making the rule easy to identify and apply during play.

The requirement is precise: both marbles must come from the same slide track, and they must be next to each other. Rather than adding a separate sequence of steps, Franklin Stickler changes the regular pick itself.

• Players: 2–4
• Play time: 45 minutes
• Key rule: Pick two adjacent marbles from one Dispenser slide track instead of one marble.
• Release year: 2019

Potion Explosion: Franklin Stickler was originally available at Essen Spiel 2019. It was also included as a reward for backing several Kickstarter campaigns, including Dized, Dice Tower 2020, and Game Boy Geek 2020.

For players looking for the official Franklin Stickler rule, the central detail is straightforward: when the regular pick occurs, take two adjacent marbles from the same Dispenser slide track rather than a single marble. That focused rule change defines this 2019 release.
