Pralaya is a strategic push-your-luck game for 2–5 players, released in 2015, about evacuating an island nation before it sinks beneath the sea.

A fearsome demon has begun dragging the beautiful island into the depths. As loyal retainers of the king, players must gather as many relics, coins, and people as possible, then secure safe passage to the northern lands.

The central challenge is deciding how far to press your luck. Evacuating more valuables and lives can lead to a higher score, but waiting too long risks losing the chance to save yourself. Success depends not only on collecting valuable relics, but also on recognizing the right moment to escape.

• Collect island relics, coins, and people.
• Evacuate your gains before the island sinks.
• Balance greater rewards against the danger of escaping too late.
• Send collected relics ahead by ship so their value can still count, even if you fail to flee in time.

Players who are caught by the island’s destruction are not necessarily defeated. If their relics have already been sent away by ship, those achievements may still be recognized, creating an unusual layer of tension around every decision.

With its combination of collection, timing, and chicken-race strategy, Pralaya asks a sharp question: will you secure the most valuable treasures and buy your passage to safety, or risk everything for an even greater reward?
