Primordial Secrets

About this board game

Primordial Secrets is a game of flamboyant intrigue for 2–4 players, with play time of approximately 90 minutes. Set before the birth of time, it places players amid an unborn cosmos ruled by powerful and unfathomable titans.

Players send their obedient pawns to entreat these beings for aid and guidance. Their visitors can return with strong new allies when they have enough devotion, while sufficient insight may allow a player to uncover a dark secret guarded by a rival.

Three extraordinary powers shape this dangerous world:

• Abyssals patrol the darkness and guard the secrets of the unborn cosmos.
• Infernals hold court in fantastic ballrooms devoted to decadence and indulgence.
• Celestials shape, guide, create, and mold what is yet to come.

While players seek assistance and insight, their deceitful hosts pursue schemes of their own. Emissaries and party guests sent by opponents can be lured to a sacrificial altar, turning every visit into a potential danger and every act of intrigue into an opportunity.

The game ends when a player has collected six sacrifices or stolen six secrets. That player claims the unborn universe and stands alone as its ruler. In Primordial Secrets, devotion, insight, rivalry, and deception all converge in a strange contest for cosmic dominion.
