Princes of the Renaissance: Expansion Bundle

About this expansion

Princes of the Renaissance: Expansion Bundle is an expansion for 3–6 players, with a listed play time of 180 minutes and a 2016 release year.

This bundle adds new components and greater variability to the game. Its extra Event Tiles make upcoming developments less certain, while the alternate City Tiles ensure that cities can differ from one game to the next.

Two new Event Tiles are added to each era. As a result, players cannot be completely certain which events will affect play until the next era arrives. This rewards a flexible strategy and further enhances replayability.

Each city also receives two alternate City Tiles, creating additional variety in how the game unfolds. The bundle expands the available player equipment as well, supporting games with up to six participants.

The expansion includes:

• 6 player boards
• Extra Event Tiles, with two new tiles for each era
• Extra City Tiles, providing two alternate tiles for each city
• A Pope standee
• Extra Gold and Influence Counters

For players seeking more uncertainty and variation, Princes of the Renaissance: Expansion Bundle adds fresh possibilities without removing the importance of adapting to changing events. The combination of additional boards, city alternatives, era events, and counters gives the game a broader range of components for its 3–6 player experience.
