About this board game
Project Skyline is a city-building game for 2–4 players that combines strategic deck-building and three-dimensional area control in a 60-minute contest for the most money.
Each game transports players to a famous city such as New York or Tokyo. Working together to shape the city’s skyline, players compete to build apartments, improve their personal construction-card decks, and find the most rewarding route to victory.
The objective is straightforward: finish with more money than anyone else. Reaching that goal requires careful decisions about when to invest in your deck and when to pursue immediate payoffs. New construction cards can help you build more efficiently or unlock entirely new ways to score.
- City building: Construct apartments while collectively developing a famous city skyline.
- Deck-building: Spend money to improve a personal deck of construction cards.
- Three-dimensional area control: Compete for valuable positions in the growing city.
- Top-spot competition: Only the uppermost apartment in each building counts toward connections.
At the end of every turn, the current player scores all monuments they have connected to the central landmark. Because only the topmost apartment in each building matters for these connections, crucial buildings become the focus of a tense back-and-forth struggle.
Will you race to the top of the most important buildings, invest in a more efficient construction engine, or discover another route to financial success? In Project Skyline, balancing investment, positioning, and payoff is the key to taking control of the city—and finishing with the most money.
