About this board game

Pups is a lighthearted trick-taking card game for 2–5 players, with games lasting about 30 minutes. Take the role of an aspiring dog trainer competing for success at the dog show.

Each round, every player gathers a new pack of seven lovable pups and bids on how well that pack will perform. Choose a bid card from the center of the table, then watch the pups face off in a series of showdowns. The goal is to win the number of showdowns you bid before the round ends.

Meet your bid and you earn valuable reward treats. Miss it, however, and you must take the penalty poos. The player who collects the most treats wins, making every bid a balance between a safer prediction and a more ambitious challenge.

• Five unique suits: Lap dogs, Working dogs, Guard dogs, Family dogs, and Mutts.
• Mutts: Combine a Mutt card with any other suit to increase its value.
• Flexible bidding: The 1, 2, and 3 bid cards are double-sided, offering either an “At Least” bid or a more difficult, more rewarding “Exactly” bid.
• Colorful presentation: The deck features 45 vibrant and adorable illustrations.
