About this board game
Puzzle Strike: Bag of Chips is a card game for 2–4 players that uses cardboard chips instead of cards and plays in about 20 minutes. It simulates a puzzle video game inspired by Puzzle Fighter, which in turn simulates the fighting game Street Fighter.
Rather than opening random packs, you build your deck as you play. The bank begins with a different selection of chips in every game, creating varied starting conditions and making each session feel different. In a four-player game, the combination of available chips and character choices creates over 411 million starting conditions.
Choose from 10 characters, each offering a different style of play. As the game develops, you can assemble combinations from the chips available in the bank and look for opportunities to create powerful combos. A built-in comeback mechanic means that players close to losing can also make even more combos than usual.
Instead of shuffling cards, place your cardboard tokens in a cloth bag and shake them to mix them up. This distinctive component-driven approach gives Puzzle Strike a tactile table presence, while retaining the appeal of a customizable card game without requiring collectible random packs.
