About this board game

Quantik is a pure abstract strategy game for exactly two players, with a 20-minute play time and a 2019 release year. Its objective is simple: be the first player to place the fourth different form in a line, column, or square zone.

On each turn, a player places one of their pieces on the board. The central challenge comes from the restriction on repeating forms. You may not place a shape in a line, column, or area where your opponent has already placed that same form.

A shape can only be doubled when you have played the previous piece of that form yourself. This creates a sharp tactical balance: your own placements can open opportunities, while your opponent’s pieces can prevent you from using important spaces.
