About this board game

Quartermaster General: South Front is a two-player World War II strategy game about the dynamic conflict on the Mediterranean front, with games lasting around 120 minutes.

Each player commands a unique deck reflecting the equipment, manpower, and strategies used by their side. The game portrays an intertwined struggle across land, air, and sea, creating a conflict in which events on one front are connected to the others.

The Axis faces a difficult race against time. If the Allies gain naval superiority, the Axis position becomes increasingly threatened. To have a chance of changing the course of the conflict, the Axis must act quickly and pursue ambitious objectives before the United States enters the war.

  • A fast-paced World War II game for exactly two players
  • A Mediterranean front shaped by land, air, and sea conflict
  • Unique decks based on each side’s equipment, manpower, and strategies
  • A time-sensitive Axis challenge involving naval superiority, the Middle East, and Gibraltar

Quartermaster General: South Front is designed to be accessible, taking about a minute to set up and only a few more minutes to learn. Its focused presentation makes it possible to get into the action quickly while its opposing decks represent the distinct capabilities and approaches of the two sides.

Released in 2025, this is the second title in the Quartermaster General Front series. It also establishes the rules for several planned releases using the same game system, making South Front part of a broader exploration of World War II conflicts.
