About this board game
Quartermaster is a fast-paced Second World War game for 2–6 players that takes about 90 minutes to play. This edition combines Quartermaster General and Quartermaster General: Air Marshal in one box.
Players command one or more major powers on either the Axis or Allied team. The goal is to earn as many victory points as possible through card play and by occupying starred supply spaces.
- Control armies and navies represented by wooden pieces.
- Use each major power’s unique card set to marshal its forces.
- Protect your supply lines while targeting those of your opponents.
Supply is crucial to keeping armies and navies in the fight. Destroy an enemy’s supply lines, and its forces will surrender, making control of key spaces and the timing of your cards central to the struggle.
Quartermaster General: Air Marshal introduces two additional mechanics. Bolster cards are played directly from your hand at a time specified on the card, adding surprise and challenge to the game.
Air Forces provide another dimension to battle. They enter the board through a Deploy Air Force card, can support Army or Navy units in the same space, and apply additional pressure to adjacent enemy pieces.
Play continues for twenty rounds, after which the team with the most victory points wins. With distinct card sets for the major powers, shifting supply lines, and air support added to the original system, Quartermaster offers a focused team contest across the Second World War.
