About this board game

Qwirkle Flex is a tile-laying strategy game for 2–4 players, with play time of about 60 minutes. Released in 2025, it takes Qwirkle strategy in a new direction by adding background colors to the scoring puzzle.

Tiles feature three different backgrounds, creating surprising opportunities to score diagonally. A placement that might look ordinary when viewed through the foreground shapes can become a valuable maneuver when its background color is taken into account.

Points can add up quickly when you place even a single tile that scores in multiple directions. The game encourages you to adjust your focus, shifting attention from the familiar foreground shapes to the colors behind them.
