About this board game

R-ECO+ is a 2023 card game for 2–4 players that offers two distinct recycling challenges, each playable in about 30 minutes. Choose between R-ECO, a hand-management game, and R-ECO Recycle, a bluffing competition about sorting waste.

In R-ECO, you become a company that collects and separates garbage. Put cards of the same type together to score points, while carefully managing the cards entering and leaving your hand. The type of cards you play determines which cards are withdrawn next, making every play part of a larger management decision.

Your hand can keep growing, but exceeding the hand limit costs points. That creates tension from the beginning to the end of the game as you try to collect more garbage than your rivals and become a designated company of the city.

R-ECO Recycle places you in charge of a waste sorting plant. Play cards face up or face down into the area appropriate for each type. Correctly placed cards become score cards, while cards placed in an inappropriate area become loss cards.

The player who most recently places a card in an area receives its score or loss, so timing and observation matter. Playing one face-up card at a time is safer, but multiple face-down cards can offer a larger return if your bluff succeeds.
