The game revolves around a unique auction system, where players bid for tiles representing various aspects of the civilization – Pharaohs, natural disasters, monuments, civilization advances, and more. These tiles are called upon by invoking Ra, the sun god, adding a thrilling element of unpredictability to the game.

Core Mechanics

• Bidding and Auction: At the heart of Ra is a unique auction system. Players bid their sun tokens to acquire new tiles to advance their civilization. The sun token used for bidding is then replaced by the token in the middle of the board, which often leads to strategic decisions on when and how much to bid.
• Tile Collection and Management: The tiles acquired during auctions contribute towards the players’ civilization’s growth. However, the players need to strategically manage these tiles as each tile type scores differently and some even bring disasters.
• Era Progression: The game progresses through three eras, each marked by the drawing of a Ra tile. The game’s tempo increases as the eras advance, intensifying the challenge and competition.
