Rebel Princess: Deluxe Edition is a trick-taking game for 3–6 players that plays in about 45 minutes. Across five rounds, the legendary princesses attend a five-day party while uninvited prince charmings attempt to propose marriage.

Your goal is to remain single by avoiding marriage proposals. Each round, players play numbered cards into tricks, following one of the game’s four suits. The player who plays the highest number in the suit that started the trick takes all the cards in it—but collecting cards can be dangerous.

Most prince charmings add one marriage proposal, while the enchanted frog adds five. After five rounds, the player with the fewest marriage proposals wins. Every player also takes the role of a different princess, with a special ability that can be used once per round.

Each of the five rounds introduces a special rule, giving every game a different structure. The Deluxe Edition also includes the new Rebel of the Ball mechanism, which lets players catch up when they are falling too far behind.
