Recreo Arcano

About this board game

Recreo Arcano is a 30-minute board game for 2–4 players, where the House of the Horneros and the House of the Capybaras compete in an underground magical contest.

Each house seeks to claim the director’s cup, collect all the potions, or leave its rivals out of the games. To pursue these objectives, players launch spell cards while coordinating with their team and trying to keep their plans hidden from the opposing house.

The castle itself can be moved during play, allowing the modular board of cards to be adapted to changing objectives. This shifting layout adds a distinctive spatial element as the rival houses adjust their plans within the game.

• Compete as the House of the Horneros or the House of the Capybaras.
• Coordinate spell cards without letting rivals decipher your plans.
• Move the castle to adapt the modular card-based board.
• Challenge rival magicians in duels.
• Discover new powerful spells during the same game.

As the contest develops, magical knowledge grows: players discover new powerful spells and use them to show which house is the winning one. With secret coordination, shifting board positions, and duels between rival magicians, Recreo Arcano brings its two-house competition to the table in a compact format.

Games distributed through preorder and the June 2023 Ludoty Box include Actitudes sospechosas inside.
