Renegade Legion: Leviathan is a two-player game released in 1989, with an approximately 90-minute playing time. It presents a detailed game of ships and fighters using large maps, dedicated counters, data, forms, and three scenarios included in the rulebook.

The game uses a scale of 75 kilometers per hex and five minutes per turn. Its 25 ship counters are mostly multi-hex, while the multi-hex ship counters show turn mode rather than scale. Fighter counters represent groups of 6, 24, or 72 fighters.

The game was later expanded by Renegade Legion: Leviathan – Capital Ship Briefing and Renegade Legion: Leviathan – The Wake of the Kraken. These expansions are part of the game’s published support and extend the Leviathan line beyond the original set.
