About this board game
Repello is a board game for 2–4 players that plays in about 30 minutes. Players move stacks of black tokens around a seeded board, aiming to push tokens off the playing space and score points.
On each turn, a player moves their stack in any direction. The distance traveled is determined by the first number on which that player moves during the turn. As the stack leaves its space, the player leaves one token from the stack behind.
Movement becomes especially important when stacks and tokens meet. If a moving stack reaches the edge of the playing space, it bounces off the edge. If it hits another player’s stack or a token on the board, that object is pushed in turn—ideally off the edge.
The board’s tokens come in three colors, each associated with a different score:
- Black tokens: 1 point
- Silver tokens: 3 points
- Gold tokens: 5 points
Players must consider both their own movement and the consequences of every collision. Pushing a valuable token away can help build a score, while bumping an opponent’s stack or token carries a penalty for the opponent. The same movement rules that let you pursue points can also create unwanted chain reactions around the board.
With its focus on directional movement, bouncing edges, and tactical pushing, Repello turns every turn into a contest over position and timing. Guide your stack carefully, target the right color, and send tokens off the board before your opponents can do the same.
