About this expansion

River Valley Glassworks: River Glass and Other Sundries is an expansion for 2–5 players that adds six modular mini-expansions to River Valley Glassworks, with a play time of approximately 30 minutes.

A good glassworks is always innovating. This expansion introduces asymmetric player powers and new scoring conditions, adding extra complexity and replayability to the glassworks experience. The modules can bring fresh goals, special abilities, and new ways to pursue bonus victory points.

• Assistants: Recruit a friendly assistant and use a once-per-game power.
• Equipment: Gain items such as a steam boat, sort-o-matic, or pulverizer for unique scoring bonuses.
• Lake Diving: Gain a lucky glass shape that makes drafting more effective.
• Orders From Afar: Intentionally place pieces in your overflow to gain bonus VP.
• River Treasures: Gain bonus VP for every “Treasured Shape” piece in your shop.
• Flooded Market: A color of glass has flooded the market, encouraging you to avoid gathering it.

Each module adds a distinct twist while supporting different approaches to collecting and scoring glass. Whether you are seeking special equipment, pursuing treasured shapes, or managing the risks of an overfilled market, the expansion creates more possibilities to consider.

River Valley Glassworks: River Glass and Other Sundries includes all the stretch goals from its Kickstarter campaign. Released in 2024, it is designed to give returning players additional variety through a flexible collection of modular content.
