About this expansion

RoboRally: Crash and Burn is a 1997 RoboRally expansion for 2–8 players, with games lasting about 120 minutes. It adds new factory-floor content and, in its five-to-eight-player version, extends the game for larger groups.

The factory floorboard expansion includes two new game boards: Blast Furnace and Machine Shop. It also introduces three new game elements and an all-new version of the Factory Floor Guide, which may help prolong a robot’s limited existence.

A separate AMIGO release uses the name “Crash & Burn” for a five-to-eight-player expansion. The AMIGO version is designed for the four-player version of RoboRally and provides the additional components needed to support larger games.

  • 4 plastic robots with backup copies and programming assistants
  • 4 floorboards
  • 8 factory floor guides
  • 26 option cards
  • 10 factory elements
  • 8 checkpoints
  • 25 damage points and 20 life points
  • A rulebook

Whether used to add new factory spaces or to accommodate five to eight players, Crash and Burn expands the RoboRally experience with extra boards, guides, cards, factory elements, and robot-related components. Its theme remains fittingly perilous: the Factory Floor Guide may extend a robot’s existence, but crashing and burning is still only a matter of time.
