About this board game

Rococo: Deluxe Edition is a strategy board game for 1–5 players, with games lasting about 120 minutes. Set during the height of the Rococo era, it invites you to grow a distinguished tailoring business and earn prestige at Louis XV’s final Grand Ball of the season.

Over seven rounds, you play employee cards to direct your business. Employees can let you hire new staff, tailor exquisite gowns and frock coats to rent or sell, or contribute funds toward the ball’s decorations. Because employees cannot always perform every task, careful planning is essential—and each employee also provides a unique bonus, including abilities that generate prestige.

Your goal extends beyond simply running a successful tailoring business. Supply elegant fashions for the guests, support the festivities, and establish a presence at the most prestigious ball of the era. When the Grand Ball ends with a spectacular fireworks display, you score prestige for rented gowns and frock coats, certain employee bonuses, and the decorations you funded. The player with the most prestige wins.
