Roll & Meow: The Cat Burglars is a 1–8 player fantasy heist game with an approximately 60-minute play time. You take on the role of a cat thief breaking into a mage’s mansion to steal the contents of the safe and two treasures drawn before the game.

In this world, anthropomorphic animals live in place of humans, and every animal has talents suited to particular jobs. Before play begins, choose a cat with its own pool of skills and select a map of the mansion. Your chosen character and the layout help shape your attempt to infiltrate the villa and get away with the loot.

Each turn, the active player rolls four D6 dice and uses the resulting dice pool to perform actions. Dice can provide movement points and support several different approaches, including stealth, action, aggression, and meow—a special way to enchant and perform unique actions.

• Choose a cat and a mansion map.
• Roll four D6 dice each turn.
• Use movement, stealth, action, aggression, and meow abilities.
• Manage noise while guards move through the mansion.
• Steal the safe’s contents and two selected treasures, then escape.

Careful planning is essential because many actions can increase the noise indicator, which influences guard behavior. At the end of turns, guards move after certain dice pools. If a guard reaches you while you are not hidden, you lose a life point and an alarm is declared.

Once the alarm sounds, dog guards are released to scour the entire villa, making concealment much harder. Meeting one ends the game, so Roll & Meow: The Cat Burglars challenges you to balance daring actions with the need to remain unseen. The game ends when you complete your objectives and escape—or when the guards defeat you.
