About this board game

RONE: Races of New Era is a strategic post-apocalyptic card game for 2 or 4 players, with games lasting around 45 minutes. In a world devastated by global nuclear war, scattered survivor groups fight for dominance over the few usable resources that remain.

Each player is represented by a hero and builds an army from cards representing soldiers, battle machines, powerful hybrids, and tremendous mutants. Equip your troops with available technologies, deploy units, and use one-time tactics to challenge your opponent and destroy every card in their deck.

RONE ties your hero’s health directly to your deck and hand. Whenever your hero takes damage, you must destroy one card from either the top of your deck or your hand. Playing cards also costs a life point, creating a tense economy where every action must be weighed carefully.

• Balance battlefield control against direct attacks on the enemy hero.
• Choose when to spend cards and when to hold back.
• Manage damage and the graveyard to avoid helping your opponent.
• Time attacks, card activations, and tactical decisions with precision.

The graveyard is more than a discard pile: its recycling system can return cards to the battlefield and dramatically change the course of the game. Dealing massive damage is not always the best choice, since destroyed cards may give your opponent valuable opportunities.

With tightly connected decisions, RONE rewards careful planning and efficient card use. A single error or unplanned action can bring defeat, while smart timing and disciplined damage management can secure control of the new order.
