Royal Hospital is a hospital-management board game for 2–4 players, with an approximate play time of 180 minutes. Released in 2025, it places you in charge of a high-end medical facility competing to identify the next leader of the world’s premier hospital.

Royal Hospital is renowned for welcoming the globe’s most infirm patients and providing the very best medical treatments on the cutting edge of science. Its success is guided by a world-class medical team led by the institution’s premier physician, known as The Director.

But change is coming. With Royal Hospital in need of a new director, its board is considering a small group of candidates who currently manage prestigious facilities around the world. You and your fellow hospital managers must prove that you have what it takes to lead this storied institution.

During the game, each player oversees the management of a hospital and makes important decisions about how to develop it. Your responsibilities include determining how to structure your hospital, deciding how to treat your patients, and choosing where to invest your resources.
