About this board game

RUSE is a fox-themed, mid-weight Euro-style strategy game for 1–4 players, with a playing time of approximately 120 minutes. Each player takes the role of a fox mother, working to raise a pack of kits more efficiently than the other players.

Across four rounds, players guide their families through three distinct phases: Destiny, Collection, and Action. These phases provide the framework for gathering what is needed, making key decisions, and supporting the growth of the kits as they develop their instincts in the den.

RUSE combines several strategic systems into one woodland-themed experience. Players must balance their plans while using worker placement, exploring territories, managing resources, and controlling dice results.
