Sabobatage

About this board game

Sabobatage is a strategic boba-inspired card game for 2–5 players that plays in about 30 minutes. Create your own boba shop experience as you draw cards, play ingredients, and work toward completing drink sets.

Every player begins with five cards. On your turn, draw cards during the draw phase, then enter the action phase, where you may play up to three cards. Ingredient cards can be played in any order, giving you flexibility as you build your drinks.

Keep an eye on your completed sets and your hand size throughout the game. If you have two or more completed drink sets at the start of your turn, you enter the Special Draw Phase and draw three cards instead of two.

• Play time: about 30 minutes
• Each player starts with 5 cards
• Play up to 3 cards during your action phase
• Up to 7 active drink sets may be in progress on your table
• Your hand may not exceed 7 cards at the end of your turn

There is no swapping ingredients to other drink sets, so decide carefully where each card belongs. If you have more than seven cards at the end of your turn, discard until you have seven.

In Sabobatage, 2–4 players race to complete five drink sets, while a five-player game requires four completed sets to win. Inspired by boba, bubble tea, and pearl milk tea, it offers a lighthearted card-game setting for friends and the whole family.
