About this board game

Say my Name is a fast-paced team guessing game for 4–12 players, with a playing time of about 90 minutes. Released in 2015, it challenges players to help their teammates identify celebrities, titles, characters, and other concepts before time runs out.

Before play begins, choose the category that suits your group. The available options are:

• Vale Todo

The game is divided into four rounds, each changing how clues can be given. In the first round, almost any form of communication is available: you can speak, act, make sounds, or point. However, you cannot say the title or character being guessed, or the card’s key word. You have just 30 seconds to help your teammates identify as many cards as possible.

Round 2 keeps the same basic challenge but restricts spoken clues to one word, while acting remains allowed. The Lightning Round changes the pace again, with all teams competing at the same time to be the first to identify the key word.

In Round 3, communication becomes entirely physical: you may act only. Across the game, players may need to speak, perform, sing, make sounds, and connect ideas quickly, so hesitation can cost valuable time.

With its changing clue restrictions and rapid-fire rounds, Say my Name combines celebrity guessing with taboo-style limitations and a simultaneous concept-finding challenge. It rewards fast reactions, expressive clues, and strong teamwork.
