Scholars of the South Tigris: Body of Books is a 2025 expansion for 1–4 players, with a play time of 90 minutes. It brings a stronger focus on medicine, research, publishing, and engine building.

The Caliph has called for greater attention to the study of medicine, drawing doctors from near and far. These visitors bring books and scrolls to share their latest discoveries, creating an opportunity to publish new findings across every field of science.

Body of Books adds a new black Medicine Research Track and introduces black dice to the game. Its central new concept is publishing books, giving players another way to develop their research and connect their decisions.
