Scoville: Labs

About this expansion

Scoville: Labs is an expansion for 2–6 players that adds significant depth to Scoville, with games lasting around 90 minutes. It introduces a personal 3×3 laboratory board for every player, along with new ways to plant and collect peppers.

In your lab, you can additionally plant peppers. When you place a new pepper, you collect cross-bred peppers based on what is next to it. This makes the arrangement of your personal board important as you decide where to add each new plant.

Each lab belongs exclusively to its player. Nobody else can play on your personal lab board, and no one can walk through it to produce peppers either. With more planting to do, every player also begins with a second “plant 1 extra pepper” token.

Scoville: Labs includes additional content to combine with the base game, expanding its available components and options:

• A personal 3×3 lab board for each player

• New recipe cards
• Pepper multiplier tokens
• A second “plant 1 extra pepper” token for every player

With its private laboratory boards, cross-breeding based on adjacent peppers, and extra recipes and multiplier tokens, Scoville: Labs gives the pepper-growing game a broader set of possibilities.
