About this board game

Scrap Racer is a raucous push-your-luck dice racing game for 2–6 players, with races lasting about 45 minutes. Take the wheel as a daredevil racer and pursue one goal: lead the field after three laps.

On your turn, roll up to six dice, one at a time, and advance your racer according to the results. Every roll is a chance to gain ground, but continuing to roll can expose you to dangerous doubles. If you roll doubles, draw a crash card; depending on the double, its effect may give you a boost or slow you down while opponents close the gap.

Repeated doubles are not always a disaster. They can earn you bonus cards that may help recover lost position when played at the right moment. You can also use your racer’s unique ability and collect Boost markers to influence the race and improve your chances of taking the lead.

• Push-your-luck dice rolling: Decide how far to press your fortune with up to six sequential rolls.
• Crash cards and bonus cards: Doubles create unpredictable setbacks, boosts, and opportunities.
• Track-position duels: When racers share a space, they fight for the right to advance.
• Goal cards: Crossing the finish line can shuffle the racers’ positions.

Whenever two racers occupy the same space, a duel determines who advances by one space and who stays put, making close competition especially tense. At the end of the third lap, the racer leading the field wins—but the effects of the goal cards can rearrange positions as racers cross the finish line.
