About this board game
Sebastian Fitzek Safehouse: Das Würfelspiel is a cooperative dice game for 1–4 players that plays in about 20 minutes.
Created by thriller author Sebastian Fitzek and game designer Marco Teubner, it is a take-along dice version of the successful board game Sebastian Fitzek Safehouse. The game places everyone in a tight spot, with a pursuer closing in behind you.
To escape, players roll the dice to complete missions. Success depends on working together: you can only win or lose as a group, so cooperation is central to every decision and every roll.
- Cooperative play: Everyone works toward the same outcome.
- Dice-driven missions: Roll the dice to complete the missions needed for your escape.
- Constant pursuit: Every roll brings the pursuer closer.
The closer you are to completing your missions, the more important effective cooperation becomes. The better you coordinate, the faster you can reach the safe house and leave your pursuer behind.
There is a serious risk, however. If the pursuer catches up with any one of you, the entire group loses. That shared consequence keeps the whole team focused on the escape rather than on individual success.
Released in 2020, Sebastian Fitzek Safehouse: Das Würfelspiel condenses the Safehouse setting into a compact cooperative dice challenge. It is designed for a small group or a solo player, with every roll advancing both your mission and the danger behind you.
